Hello There!

I recently went to a junk store with a handful of friends to search and rummage through things from the past. I found rather a lot of pretty tea cups and saucers but I also found this rather lovely book!
I am not sure whether or not to sell it. If you think you would be interest then just let me know but as for now I am willing to keep it for myself because I just love it so much. I am a huge fan of Heidi and the moment I saw the absolutely gorgeous front cover I fell in love with it. I think it is around 40-50 years old but it is still in quite good nick, especially as it is a children's book.

Naturally, I have always loved classics but I think childhood classics are always going to be the best of all in my heart. Due to the memories they made for me and the day dreams that they prompt me to remember from years ago.

I think also the fact that the story is set in Switzerland. I have a little bit of an obsession with the country. Don't tell anybody they will all think I am mad! He, he! I get it from  my Papa. He has always wanted to go too. Maybe we shall go together some day. That would be amazing!

Aaaaaahh, anyway I should stop day dreaming now!
Byesdy Byes.

  1. I love old books. Old children's books especially--I love the artwork that tends to be in them! And Heidi is one of my very favorite books. I always dreamt of going to Switzerland to climb the mountains with Peter and his goats.(;

  2. HEIDI was one of my favourite books as a child. Seeing this post has brought about a rush of fond childhood memories - many thanks for sharing! :)
