Ah, what a beautiful way to start off 2013 here in Yorkshire. I have been waiting for snow for what feels like and ever so long time! It started yesterday evening and when I woke up there was still a sprinkle here and there falling from the sky. I quickly snapped up my camera and stepped out of our cosy and warm cottage into the Winter wonderland. For the last few years I have been looking incredibly forward to the Spring but for some reason this year I am quite content for it to keep on snowing and the flowers to hide away. I think it is due to not having very extreme weather this year. In fact it has been really quite mild for Yorkshire!
The photos I have taken aren't anything special but I always like to document these experience so that it is easy for me to look back on good memories.
I put our Christmas tree outside for next year. I was really sad to not have it to stare at whilst lounging on the sofa during the dark evenings!
I couldn't bare to put our fairy lights back in their boxes for our next Christmas so I decided to put them up on our wall instead. That is just how sad I am!
